A visit to Titanic, Belfast
The replicas of the cabins for different classes would provide students with a great understanding of the European social divide at the birth of the 20th century, the pure luxury of first class is overwhelming.
Another standout is towards the end, when you can visit the section on deep sea exploration, examining how Titanic was re-discovered and the technology used to explore the sunken vessel. Memorials are explored and there is a comparison of Belfast then and now.
This museum far outshines most I've visited- but it is more an experience than a museum, anyway... It cost Belfast a mint- but was it ever worth it!
